Senior Vice President, Global Public Policy & Indo-Pacific Policy Operations, Mastercard

Ravi Aurora is Senior Vice President, Global Public Policy & Indo-Pacific Policy Operations at Mastercard. In this role, he leads a series of diverse global thought leadership strategic initiatives focused on public policy, advocacy and community engagement affairs across the globe, coupled with policy operations for the Indo-Pacific region. He is responsible for Mastercard’s Policy Center for the Digital Economy coupled with Digital Tech Policy and strategic relationships with multilateral organizations such as the World Bank Group, UN, AFI (Alliance for Financial Inclusion) and others. Prior to Mastercard, he held leadership positions at Kraft Foods and Saint-Gobain Norton Abrasives.

Ravi also serves as the global strategic advisor for ASIA, an employee-led Business Resource Group at Mastercard focused on creating a more inclusive culture and effectively driving business growth, financial performance and success in the global marketplace.

Ravi served on the Executive Committee of the Better Than Cash Alliance (BTCA) and is currently on the Board of Directors of Woodstock Institute, whose mission is to create a just financial system in which lower-wealth persons and communities, and people and communities of color, can achieve economic security and community prosperity. He also serves on the Board of the U.S. – Bangladesh Business Council.

Ravi is also a recipient of Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business (2015), awarded by the Asian American Business Development Center. He holds a M.S. in Industrial Engineering and MBA from Louisiana State University in the United States and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India.
